Ohio's New Distracted Driving Law Now in Effect

Ohio's new distracted driving law is now in effect. HB 95 provides for up to a $100 fine for "distracted" drivers that commit a traffic violation. The $100 fine is in addition to the fine for the underlying traffic violation (e.g. improper lane change). "Distracted" is defined as use of a handheld electronic wireless communications device; or engaging in activity that is not necessary for the vehicle's operation and that impairs, or reasonably would be expected to impair, the driver's ability to drive safely. If a motorist completes an online Ohio Department of Public Safety online distracted driving course, provides the court proof of completion, they don't have to pay the additional "distracted driving" fine. Expense Reimbursement Travel and Meal

Hello, Belmont county is working on updating our Expense Reimbursement Travel and Meal policy. With that said we are interested in how other counties handle the below questions. Are you able to please pass along your process? Thank you in advance for your help. It is appreciated. Are delivery charges reimbursable? Are tips reimbursed? If so, are they on the total bill (tax included or before tax)? Are booking charges, service charges etc, reimbursable? Does the county reimburse for itnra-county travel?
