Please broadcast the following: Has anyone had the experience of receiving reduced funding from a grant and having to cut hours or wages of an employee paid from that grant? In particular, can this be done under the provisions of ORC 124.321 and 124.34 regarding classified employees? On another note, can employees paid from a grant be unclassified simply by virtue of the tenuous nature of continued funding for their position? Do employees paid from a grant have a property right to their position? Thanks for any insight you can offer. -- *Sue E.
