Thank you. In my past we would need to have two “inconclusive” onsite tests and then they would still be sent to a testing facility as the next step and follow that process. A denial would still be grounds for termination. We would have 2 people present for the testing. If negative tests were the result of the onsite tests, it allowed us to get the employee back to work faster and ensured they weren’t an additional risk to us. We had internal forms to state the test number(s), who administered, etc. for onsite records. Not sure if this would not work in the public sector to anyone’s knowledge and/or experience.
