As a smaller county we do not currently have a designated HR department, the duties are split amongst various employees and departments. 1. Does your county have a Human Resources department or employee(s)? We currently do not, but we are actively working on developing a plan to implement a new department. We had a consultant come in and do an evaluation of each department to determine our vulnerability in regards to HR. 2. Does this department fall under the Commissioners' or the Auditor? We intend to have the HR department under the Commissioners 3. How many employees are in Human Resources? We are looking at hiring 1 full time director and allow that person to determine the needs and staff requirement. (Within reason) 1. Title & Wage? We are still working on the wage.
