We would like to have answers to the following questions: Does your payroll department provide the sick/vacation time balances on the employee pay stubs? Yes, sick/vacation time balances are on employee pay stubs. Are all departments participating? All departments are participating How is data collected from the departments? Do any of the participating departments use time clocks? Data is collected via payroll software and verified by department heads. As for time clocks, very few departments use time clocks anymore. I think our Engineer still uses one and JFS uses a program as a time clock. Is there a disclaimer attached, stating that "this information is current as of 00/00/16? There is no disclaimer. Who inputs the data? Does this create extra time in the processing of payroll? Department heads processes the time sheet and leave use via the Auditor's office software. The Auditor's office verifies the accuracy. This new process has decreased processing for the Auditor's office but increased time on department heads. Do you outsource payroll, or is it done in-house? What payroll vendor does your county use? All payroll is done in-house.
