Hi Brian, We follow ORC 325.19 and as is provided in ORC 9.44 offer prior public service credit for accrual rates with appropriate documentation. Those who have one year of accumulated service (from all sources) would earn and be permitted to use their vacation. We have some collective bargaining agreements that are more generous. It is my understanding we could never be more generous to our non-bargaining individuals than the most generous CBA we have approved.
