Delaware County follows 325.19 and 9.44 as well. We have one new CBA that is more generous, but we have not offered this to other non-union employees. Those who have one year of accumulated service (from all sources) would earn and be permitted to use their vacation. We have some collective bargaining agreements that are more generous. It is my understanding we could never be more generous to our non-bargaining individuals than the most generous CBA we have approved. Do any counties offer a vacation leave that differs from what is provided in ORC? Also, does any county allow their employees to accrue and used accrued vacation leave prior to the completion of their first year of employment? If you have an alternative vacation policy, please share.
