Belmont County does not have a book of forms but sounds like a wonderful idea! I create the motions and resolutions as needed weekly. I keep samples of those that we do frequently and revise them as needed for each meeting. I am attaching a sample of motions from one of our meetings in case it is helpful. Butler County is contracting for the installation of a new Resolution Management system which will enable it to use pre-written Resolution forms in WORD format in which the user simply fills in blanks in the form to complete it. We wondered how many member counties have a book of forms which they already use when the opportunity presents itself in their commission meetings. Any county willing to share its forms with Butler County would be greatly appreciated. We have forms which we would be willing to share in return. We are simply looking for the most efficient and effective forms in use today.
WORD is the format which our forms system is going to use.
