Good morning Cathy, Richland County does not allow employees to transport family members without a specific work-related purpose. If Mahoning county is considering allowing it, you may want to ask them to sign a volunteer waiver. The attached sample came from CORSA. We are inquiring as to whether other counties permit EMA employees to intermittently transport family members in the County-owned assigned vehicle due to the 24/7 nature of EMA. If so, are there any parameters for doing so and do they get waivers signed?
Thank you.
