The employees would get paid leave in addition to any amount that the Board of Elections pays their election workers. Section 3501.28 of the Ohio Revised Code allows a Board of County Commissioners to pass a resolution setting forth the terms and conditions for leave with pay for an employee who serves as an election worker. Has any other County passed a resolution that would permit leave with pay for employees serving as election workers? If so, would you mind sharing your resolution and policy?
