I only remember this happening twice over the last 13 years and Medina doesn't have a standard process in place for this situation. On one occasion the individual paid for the repairs and was reimbursed, and in the other they had the vehicle towed and the County was billed directly for the towing and repair. Only a select few departments have credit cards, so this is not an option. Does the staff front the money for a repair and get reimbursed? Do all drivers have access to a County credit card? While this rarely happens, it has created an issue recently. Any information is appreciated. Thank you. Emily P Marth Knox County S&L Control Coordinator
