In Lake County, the Employee Health and wellness falls under the Commissioner’s office specifically the Finance Department. We recently switched to a online enrollment system, BenXpress, and employees enroll online, and after open enrollment, a file is sent to our Auditor’s office which imports this file into the payroll system.
