Warren County is exploring the option of a Teleworking Policy for departments to use for the appropriate personnel for non-pandemic/non-emergency situations. Do other counties have a permanent policy for teleworking? How does it work and how often do you use it? We have a committee working on this idea and would like any feedback or sample policies that are being used. Thank you for your feedback, Sue Spencer, HR Manager Warren County
Logan County adopted the temporary policy provided by CORSA. We do not have a permanent teleworking policy at this time. Hi Sue and everyone, Erie County is in the process of drafting a temporary teleworking policy through the end of December. We used language from both the CORSA recommended policy, and the Defiance County policy - Sherry shared with us a week or so ago. The draft policy is still under consideration as discussion continues as to whether a formal policy is the way to go, or just an informal process between supervisors' and staff, depending on operational need. There's been no discussion yet re: a permanent policy/process. Thanks, Nancy Nancy A.
