DOL's Proposed Overtime Regulations
Hello Everyone, It's looking like the Department of Labor's proposed overtime regulations may be finalized as soon as this summer - not much time to prepare. I'm curious as to what you might be doing in the spirit of being proactive in preparing for the final regulations, and/or if they will impact you at all. Any comments, and/or advice would be appreciated. Thank you, Nancy Nancy A. Licking County has done the following: Provided the Department Heads and Elected Officials: 1. A training on April 14th and April 18th detailing upcoming changes. 2. Exemption checklists to use to verify that positions pass the duties test. 3. A timeline of what needs to be completed prior to the final ruling. Thank You! Hello, Fairfield is planning on a FLSA training for our Department Heads and Elected Officials. We are also revamping our overall time keeping processes and automating. As part of that process, we have asked all departments to review their positions and make sure those positions that overtime eligible are identified and that their department is in compliance. Thanks much, Jeff From: CORSA-broadcast [mailto:corsa-broadcast-bounces@corsa.org] On Behalf Of Nancy Ostrander Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2016 10:54 AM To: CORSA Broadcast Email Subject: [CORSA-broadcast] DOL's Proposed Overtime Regulations Hello Everyone, It's looking like the Department of Labor's proposed overtime regulations may be finalized as soon as this summer - not much time to prepare.
