Hi Everyone, Do you offer health care benefits to part time employees working between 20-35 hours per week? If so, do they pay the same rate as full time employees and if not how much is the rate increase? Thank you! Ottawa does not. We track it in compliance with the ACA and offer it to them after their look back period if they qualify. Part time employees must work a minimum of 24 per week (42 hours in a payroll) to be considered full time status for health insurance. Part time people are not offered it. In Trumbull, our threshold for benefits is 30 hours. 30 hours per week and above, employees qualify, and they pay the same as full-timers. Delaware County provides health benefits for employees working 30 hours or more per week. All employees that are eligible for health insurance pay the same rates no matter how many hours per week they work. Seneca County offers health care benefits to full time employees only. Employee pay 20% employer 80%. Over 30 hours. The County use to offer insurance for part time employees at a 50/50 cost. We removed that last year.
