In Belmont, we have a large parking area directly behind the Courthouse that is designated for county employees only. Elected Officials have a separate lot beside the Courthouse. All county employees have a permit that they must display in the front window of their vehicle. The lots have signage that says it is for permit parking only. There are a couple of other small lots nearby and on street parking for the general public to use. We also occasionally close off a small lot nearby for jurors if there is a large trial.
