Records retention
We are updating our records retention schedule and the Ohio History Connection's suggested schedule for Work Comp claims is 10 years after final payment. We are confused as to what "final payment" means. If anyone has something different than this language, could you please send me your retention period for Workers Comp claims? Thank you kindly. Lorain County has the Retention set for 10 years after the final activity. This was based on information I received for Risk Management/Insurance from Oct. 10, 2012.
