Hi everyone - Settlements have a significant positive impact on our Group Retro program, so we ask counties to consider every proposed settlement on a case-by-case bases. Sometimes it makes sense financially to settle with a current employee who has a valid claim and is not likely to "milk the system" in the future. It is the county's call, of course, but we ask that they remain open to giving the settlement proposal consideration in each individual case. Please feel free to contact me to discuss - or we can talk about it during the webinar in 20 minutes! Thanks, Beth Elizabeth G. Miller, Esq.
