Medina County contracts with Advanced Correctional Healthcare for jail medical services. The annual cost is $392,395 plus a per diem per inmate over 196. They provide all the staffing and cover the majority of pharmaceuticals with the exception of specialized medication for HIV, TB, etc. Medina employs an RN at the county home.
