FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse question
We are considering putting a page together for potential new hires who are CDL holders that would give them instructions on how to provide us with consent to conduct a query on them in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Seeing the page would also serve as a reminder to us to conduct the query as it is not yet a normal part of our routine. Before we do this, we were wondering if any other county has done this or something similar and if they would share. Thanks in advance, Jenny Phelps Loss Control Program Coordinator Richland County Risk Management office: 419-774-6318 fax: 419-774-3581

Attached is Knox County’s resolution; policy; and consent form. We have purchased and begun our queries. It’s much like using the Samba template and uploading information although there have been a few glitches.
