Due to the current rate of COVID spread, Muskingum County is looking at reinstating the extended EPSLA (Emergency Paid Sick Leave) that allows for a refreshed bank of 10 days of paid sick leave that currently would cover applicable COVID related leave between 04/01/21 and 9/30/21. (wondering if that will be extended based on current cases) If we decide to reinstate, we are not looking at retroactive back to 04/01/21 but rather from the approval date forward. Have any other Counties already reinstated the extended EPSLA? Appreciate any information that Counties would like to share. Thanks! Hi Pam, With the wide availability of the vaccine, we discontinued paid administrative leave June 2, 2021. Paid administrative leave was our replacement for EPSL in January. We have no plans to reinstate it, in fact we passed the attached policy yesterday. We also have incentives for those who get the vaccine by October 1, if you are interested ☺ Thanks!
