Potential Flooding Risk This Weekend

Parts of Ohio may be at risk for flooding this weekend. If you have structures in areas know to flood best practice is to have a system and resources in place to mitigate the hazards. A non-exhaustive list of flood mitigation best practices include: * Having a system in please to periodically check structures known to or may flood * Have materials in place to mitigate hazards as they arise: * Make sure all exterior drains are clear and draining correctly * Preplace * Sand or other bulk materials * Sandbags * Plywood of sufficient strength to hold back water * Other diking materials * Pumps/hoses * Personal to utilize the above These are just the very basic materials and systems to utilize when potential flooding may occur.
