Here's the response from our Children Services Agency: We do not have a written policy either, but we do use guidance from the health department. If a home is known to have bed bugs, we try to help the families get them treated. We've also held meetings at locations other than the home or the agency...some place with hard flooring and chairs (no carpet or upholstery). If we have to remove children from homes infested with bed bugs. We bring clothing for them to change into before they are transported.
