Please advise on your county's apiary inspector; ie: employee or independent contractor. ORC states we may appoint and if appointed, pay a "salary". Wyandot County does not consider him an employee. He is strictly appropriated a stipend of which he may not exceed but usually does not spend it all. It covers mileage, meal costs, office expenses and an hourly rate. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jones, Cathy To: corsa-broadcast@corsa.org Sent: Thursday, January 16, 2014 11:27 AM Subject: [CORSA-broadcast] County Apiary Inspector Please advise on your county's apiary inspector; ie: employee or independent contractor.
