Family members in EMA vehicle
We are inquiring as to whether other counties permit EMA employees to intermittently transport family members in the County-owned assigned vehicle due to the 24/7 nature of EMA. If so, are there any parameters for doing so and do they get waivers signed? Thank you. Good morning Cathy, Richland County does not allow employees to transport family members without a specific work-related purpose. If Mahoning county is considering allowing it, you may want to ask them to sign a volunteer waiver. The attached sample came from CORSA.
