Highway Garage Safety Question
Hello Everyone, I was wondering how other counties handle the safety and training program for their highway garage. Do you have a single person whose sole job is to manage the safety program (trenching, traffic maintenance, shop, training etc.)? Is your superintendent the safety expert who ensures work is done safely? Do you have employees who specialize in certain areas so you have multiple people running the program? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Erica Noel Risk Coordinator Wood County Commissioners' Office P: 419-354-9199 F: 419-373-4998 enoel@woodcountyohio.gov ***Please note my email address has changed***
Warren County Engineers Office The Deputy of Operations handles all training. He shares info with employees through tailgate talks and L Tap safety videos from the state.
