Fairfield County does have vacation and sick time balances on paystubs and in our Employee Self-Serve System online. To my knowledge all departments participate and information is submitted to our Auditor's office. There is no disclaimer. Payroll is done through our Auditor's office. We are currently moving to the use of electronic time clocks through a program called ExecuTime. We expect to make this move in 2017. Clinton County does illustrate the accrual earned for that pay date as well as the benefit balance for both sick time and vacation time. No disclaimer. Payroll is processed through the Auditor's Office. A few areas such as the Sheriff's Office have time clocks, but for the most part we use paper time sheets. Would love to implement a time and attendance module connected to our payroll system, but that has not risen to the top of the priority list yet. Benefit accrual data is currently provided to the Auditor's Office by the offices-however, this should be set up in payroll to calculate the accrual based upon hours paid, payroll has just not set that up for whatever reason. Hi Michele, Clark County's pay stub is provided electronically. It includes balances as of the end of the pay period. We use BS&A for accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, purchase orders, timesheets, etc. The Auditor's office generates payroll from timesheet data that is entered by each department's budgetary person. Does your payroll department provide the sick/vacation time balances on the employee pay stubs? Currently our payroll department does not provide sick/vacation time balances on employee pay stubs. Sick/Vacation time balances are maintained by each Department Head/Elected Official office. The exception is those Departments under the Commissioners, which is maintained by me in the HR office and are added to paycheck stubs via placing a label with the current accrual balances. We are looking at upgrading our current payroll system and hope to incorporate the records to print on paystubs in the future. Are all departments participating? I only maintain records for departments under the Commissioners/County General. Unsure if 100% of all departments provide balances to employees each pay or not. Some departments utilize time clocks, but the majority of the departments report payroll hours manually via timesheets.
